The writer is saying he is about finished his CPL so one can only assume that he intends to fly commercially in which case a twin rating is far better.
What twin endo do you already have JB? Cost is everything these days (has been 4ever really) when it comes to flying but a CV with a few hrs on singles IFR may not be the catylist to get that job as against a CV that has at least a bare twin IFR rating. At the end of the day, yr choice & SE IFR has it's place but usually for PVT ops more than anything
