Yes, I agree, and I note with interest the dissenting statements in the report. There are at least two other such accidents I am aware of...the DC9 CFIT into Charlotte, NC, and a Canadair "NorthStar" (DC4 type with Merlins) accident into the East face of Mt. Slesse near the Canada-US border just south of Chilliwack - strong winds, lee side, returning to VR after an engine failure. There was also a
