the fact is that Gulfjet regardless of losing money or making money, owes all of its pilots money and shall be liable for it... sadly the laws in this country only protect the greedy UAE bastard that hides behind his robe and pretends to be an ethical individual while he is the most devious crook that can exist.
Gulfjet is absolutely liable for the salaries as per the UAE labor law. The law is not protecting UAE nationals more than anybody else (who told you such a silly thing?). In a free zone company shareholders could be 100% expats and it's all a question of liability and not of nationality. No need to insult people the way you do, this is not adding any serious support to your post. Your friend might be a nice guy but shouldn't have decided to go to Gulfjet just to be able to stay in Dubai. It was VERY easy to get feedback on this company. CL604 says that his friend joined 1 month ago while it's be 3 months that pilots were not paid... how can you reasonably join is these conditions !?!? Either some info is missing or this guy is not very brilliant.
Did he at least go to the labor office to fill in a report? Let us know how things are going with this and if he needs help.
