I think the above quote will more than likely appear on page one of Micko's memoirs. It's something Ryanair have been doing for years.
As an aside, if the partial closing down of a base is true then I have sympathy for the local workers. At a time when Ryanair seem to be recruiting however, it would seem that they will be offered bases elsewhere.
