As Skiptoit said, the aircraft are replacements not for expansion. If anything I can see a couple of guys getting laid off over the next few months due to the drying up of the charter and ACMI markets at the moment. There are also already 2 guys in the hold pool who were about to start their line training when the economy went bad.
Whilst Aurigny do not have TRTO approval they do have a very close relationship with Skyblue and in recent times plenty of FOs recruited have actually not been type rated- they have been selected by Aurigny first and then sent to Skyblue for their TR course.
