I think you might find the new route Aurigny were about to annonce was a Jersey-Stansted-Jersey.
If this is the case Aurigny did this route a number of years ago so not a new route as such for the company but reinstateing an old one so no susidy from the states of Jersey?.
Aurigny were only looking at starting this up again if the Luton that Easy dropped was not taken up by any one.
With Flybe doing a Luton service all be it three or four times a week this summer the The Aurigny idea of the Jersey-Stansted-Jersey might be dropped.
It will be a hard summer for every one not only down there in the Islands.
