I went flying out of CVT on Monday - the Wx wasn't very good but had been great on Sunday!!! I had planned to go CVT - Sywell - CVT. I had forgotten that Sywell is closed on Mondays in any case (although NOTAM'd closed until 5/1/09
). Turweston was also closed!
So I took a work colleague over Gaydon (work related), Silverstone, DTY VOR, Bruntingthorpe and back to CVT instead. Still a good days flying - its nice to need a little less height in a heli!
Lets hope for better Wx in 2009!
