Is "Peachy" the first RAF Navigator to be raised to the peerage?
Don't know about the peerage, but so far as knighthoods are concerned, here's my starter for ten for someone whom qualified as a Navigator who was awarded two:
Air Marshal Sir John Curtiss KCB 1981 (CB 1979); KBE 1982; FRAeS

Air Sqdn, 1942–43; Bomber Comd, 578 and 158 sqdns, 1944–45; Transport Comd, 51 and 59 sqdn, 1945–49; Training Comd, 1950–53; Fighter Comd, 29 and 5 sqdns, 1953–64; Dir, RAF Staff Coll., 1967–69; Stn Comdr RAF Bruggen, RAFG, 1970–72; Gp Capt. Chm., Pathfinders Disaster Relief, 1995–2000; Chief Exec., Assoc. of Pathfinders, 1996–2000.
Looks like he earned both of them, the KBE being for the Falklands I suspect .......
