Would forced redundancy be by seniority? If so, there would be mass of re-training if it started at the bottom!
You would hope so but I have my grave fears. Just look over the road at KD. Seniority is working in reverse. All those senior guy's and gal's (CRJ drivers) are on the street whilst others of 1-2 years employment are still in the job. Yes there is the award to address this issue and yes there are all the questions raised by the matter of Administration but KD management has just swept the senior drivers under the carpet. Talk to a KD turbo prop driver and then talk to an ex CRJ driver about how they feel. You will find it very sad indeed.

Goodluck to all those Southern employees. You ran a great ship in a time when Impulse was seen as the enemy and this is the thanks from Qantas that you get.
