I don't think the material on Smart Cockpit would be much use to an engineer going for the A330 type-rating. I'm guessing that this is what Edrian is, in this forum.

Note the heading (A330 at least) "Flight Crew Operating Manual".

I have an A330 B1 training manual; covering 3 engines and the airframe. It's the better part of 7,000 pages of material, ie could be printed on 3,500 A4 sheets. (Unfortunately I can't offer it).

It does illustrate the difference between what a type-rated pilot must know about an aircraft, and what the type-rated engineer who signs it off must know.
