I was talkin to my mate who serves in the raf in the regiment and said to me there are 2 types of pilots
Multi-talented these Regiment-types; short-range desert group, lots of drill, and now career-advisors/aircrew selection experts. What will they take up next?

While it sounds desperately dull, on this group we don't do text-speak, dropping of final consonants etc.

As far as I know the RAF look for a single, fairly clearly defined set of aptitude, skills, ability and values in their aircrew applicants. It's all in the OASC thread. I'd leave your regiments friend's advice well alone.
