The last 3 BV234's left ABZ in 1989-1990 to columbia Helicopters G-BISN,SP,SR.
These were the last Chinook's to fly out of Aberdeen since the 1986 accident of Sumburgh.
After the Accident all 3 machine's were stored in ABZ without work for 3 years with some ad-hoc work but not enough to keep them here.
I miss them very much too great machines.
