LOL. don, I must be one of the few pilots who is actually in love with his wife! (Don't you just hate all the warm and fuzzy stuff).
Although I would consider commuting if the rosters were favourable but having just had a look at the pay and conditions, only as a Skipper. About the same for pay conditions for me as an F/O.
As mentioned earlier though, will be better for some of the more junior troopies- and those seeking an earlier, more predictable and domestic free command.
