Sad to hear the demise of FLT. Was the actual loss of the IAC the reason for their demise, or the "problems unknown" which caused them to have the contract taken away the more pertinent reason? Not a nice time of year for this to happen to all involved.
Eastern have been flying to/from Sumburgh I see, I presume that situation will continue until their crews are trained up to fly out of SCS, or ex-FLT crews are TUPED over & are trained onto the Saab - if indeed, as queried, TUPE still applies.
Also some flights by Bristow today (assume EC225?) direct to the Basin.
Are all the 146s out of ABZ now?
Pretty sure FLT came in at around the same time of year when BWA shut down in 2001.
