Like so many others, I was sorry to hear the news and can only wish all the
staff affected good luck.
I totally agree with fincastle84... Let's not give the boss a hard time.
As one of those affected in 2004 - and having been there since the early
days, I
know that, having sold the majority of the business in
2002, he then took it
back over only
after
the "management consultancy" did what they did. Just in time, in fact, to
take all the flak from the (few) ignorant and misinformed
staff who
were generally too junior to know any better. And let's face it, it lasted this
long in trying times... He clearly has had to take tough decisions in tough
times. Good luck to
all.
I had some of my most interesting and informative times in aviation with
them. Thanks for that.
