TUI had 13 pages I think... I'm sure it's to weed out people who aren't genuinely interested in the job. Soon enough we'll be writing short stories and putting down out favorite color, meal and to include a thesis on the political situation in Tibet.
Followed of course by the mandatory 8 day group exercises including holding hands and singing kumbaya, memorizing each others names and playing "which 5 movies" you'd want with you if you got stranded on an island (which you assume then would have A/V equipment on it. Or wait... maybe that's the thing, a TRICK exercise, there IS no tv on the island and you were meant to say no movies, I'd want the QRH and my explosive yogurt instead)
One-page CV, then an interview and possibly simcheck is the way to go. IMHO.
