nav-Rnp approaches the 717 cant do it surprised as the Dornier 328 can do them FMS coupled.
Yes they can. Honeywell Pegasus VIA. Chargeable option in -909 software.

Just waiting for someone to write the cheque, AFAIK.
CASA will not certify it as the FMS position is a combo of GPS and IRU data.
If its okay for a Chieftain with 1x Garmin TSO'd GPS to do GPS NPA, why is it that "CASA will not certify" an aircraft with 2x TSO'ed GPS, 2x strapdown Inertial Nav, with backup Radio nav updating and off-side VIA standing by as a hot spare?

Serious question - why not?
I guess circling approaches at 750' agl is safer???
400' agl by day!
