I just paid in excess of $500 for "taxes" per round trip flight from NY to London over and above the ticket price; another $200 on top of that is just ******* nuts.
My last trip the "ticket" cost $450 round trip; when I gave my credit card details the bill was for $1055.
What a way to stimulate the economy...
