They've always seemed pretty chirpy to me when I've popped in....
I know that they're directly employed by Dundee City Council, and although the headline salary doesn't look too special the working conditions are supposed to be great.
They have a varied selection of traffic; it's mainly training during the day but they do have a scheduled service to London City (Suckling/Scot Airways - six flights each way a day, I think), there are summer charters (last year 146s flying via Blackpool) and the odd business jet. Last time I was up there a couple of choppers were also sat on the apron.
It's a modern (small) airport, but very basic.
