Homeless FE's

I have to agree with L-38 regarding those FE's in the right seat. As far as low time, we were all there at one time or another. This is actually a pretty damm good environment for training( long cruise legs and a relatively forgiving acraft ). Sure, a CK Airman with such a low timer in the right seat would have his hands full in all phases of flight, but thats NOT what were talking here. --Cruise pilot-- L-38 was right in pointing out what the FE already knows regarding systems and Company operations, and lets face another fact, the FE is a dying occupation. There is nowhere for them to go. I believe, as a -200/-400 Capt. who was a prior FE upgrade myself, I have an obligation to my fellow crewmembers( Polar too ), to help integrate any newcomer, and help keep eachother employed.
