I heard about that one. And there was a simple solution which I understand he was too honorable to take. All he needed to do to get a ride was to reveal the name of the "scab announcer" or the person who had put someones name on the Polar scab list. This was maybe two weeks after the ill conceived Polar strike. He wouldn't reveal any names, and good for him. Among all of you, he is one who is actually man enough to, in person, stand up and take the heat. I heard he was also warned a week in advance and there were three other airplanes he could take to get home within a 12 hour period. So lets not feel to bad for him. It cost him maybe 10 hours of his life. Much less than it cost some of our Atlas guys who were on the scab announcer list.
And to answer your question, I would be proud to pull gear for Rick or have him pull gear for me.
