With the greatest amount of respect I strongly disagree with that statement! What's wrong with people working for the money needed for flight training? I know lots people that have done this and during this downturn are sitting quite comfortably waiting for the upturn knowing that they haven't got any debts. I think for the past 10+ years we've been indoctrinated with the statement that "debt is ok" - no it isn't.
Anyhow just my 2 pennies worth
