i am training in london at the moment.
infact, after med school, i plucked up courage and went to my airline .
i was very fond of the A320.
but the interview was a joke ....they could not believe that a medic wanted to waste his life being a mechanic. i was taken to the hangar and one of the big guys , who was asked to show me around showed me a mechanic holding a bucket of grease and said ..."you don't want to do that !"
i know they meant well for me , but atleast i tried. now i have moved on in medicine and am a specialist in anesthesia ..which has a little bit of physics in it.
my dream is to write a web page for my anesthesia colleagues about the airbus, since we have a physics background.
anesthesia has many similarites with aviation ..... check lists, emegency drills, equipment dealing with gas flows and so on ....
thank you.
