Distance learning

Hey mafemukh & eagle21

I too have done some courses with the Open University. I found the whole experience really enjoyable. Unfortunately they don't offer any aviation related courses/qualifications with the exception of an Aviation related foundation degree, but that's only open to serving members of the RAF.

I've also done one of IATA's distance learning modules and found it to be very disappointing having experienced distance learning with the OU.

London Met offer full-time & part-time study but have not been able to get their act together to deliver the course on a distance learning basis. I remember they did have plans to launch distance ed. version of their aviation management foundation degree back in early 2007 but it never did materialize.

If your specifically after aviation/transport related qualifications, your best bet would be ERAU, otherwise the OU is a safe bet for other related subject areas.
