i am a doctor , with a great interest in aviation . after med school, i wanted to become a mechanic ...but was refused strongly. but i am still interested in the stuff, though i have no hope of touching a tarmac.
. i need some advice. i am keen to understand the airbus systems. ..a bit more than what the flight crew manual says. at the same time i don't need details as to where to bolt on a specific unit etc . i would like to read something in between ....detailed overview of systems , but not down to componenet level. can you recommend any books or cd roms that i can get. any airliner class aircraft would do , but i am particularly interested in the airbus 320/330/340. basically , if you are an engineer, but are completely new to the bus, what book would you read at the start , to get a dep overview of the systems? any help will be greatly appreciated. please email me with any ideas
