Cant help myself here, let me assure you the T & C's are not even close to being the same.
J/C have a 6 month old CEA/EBA. This took two years negotiating with those half witted, no talent mongoloids who now run Pac Blue! They failed by the way and new J/C management had to step in, it took them 6 weeks, sorted!!!
Last time I checked PB are still on individual contracts.
( I believe you PB guys are to work your day off when required? correct me if I'm wrong )
J/C receive incentive pay, PB do not
J/C base salary higher
J/C has seniority, something PB managaement is ideologically opposed to!
J/C has a formal roster bidding system, entrenched in the CEA
Numerous protections for working single days off etc, a formal fatigue management programme that is actually actioned as opposed to
previous J/C ops managers system of total denial!
A grey day type system designed to give crew extra days off
Minimum 12 hours rest
And my personal favourite, management actually call you back when you need to talk to them!!! Well ****!
I feel for you guys at PB, I've worked under your current regime and this is a FACT!!! J/C was weeks away from being shut down because of them.
The place was mismanaged badly and it took new QF management to save them. The place isnt fixed yet by all accounts but it's well on the way
