FYI the pilot before me lasted 2 months, and the pilot before her only 2 weeks, and he just happens to work in the same company as me now. and gee, he said exactly the same thing as me!
By the sounds of it you guys did the right thing.
If someone breaks their promises then treats you like crap for what is basically a ****kicker position like that one, then the best thing you could do is tell 'em to get f*%ked and find something better. Its not exactly hard to go find decent work as a bare CPL in the current climate.
No point trading in you're dignity as a professional pilot for those kind of conditions.
