Let's face it they can all offer low fares from time to time, but if I'm staying with friends in Surrey for example, then £35 rtn BFS to LTN isn't much good if it costs another 50 or 60 quid to get to Camberley and back.. .Last Sept, BFS-LTN was £125, tried to book 5 weeks in advance, went to BMI £105 BFS-LHR, who was low cost there then? . .Last week, I checked out BHD/BRS £175rtn, whereas BFS/BRS was £149rtn, OK it's cheaper, but not exactly low cost. Anyway, I booked with BE because of superior service and the fact that they operate from a half decent, centrally located hub. But it's swings and roundabouts, there's room for both types of airline, although BE would do well to hire some Marketing/
PR peeps who know what they're doing.
