LimaNovember,. .. .I agree up to a point but then why don't other airlines come clean in their advertising about how far airports are from the Cities they serve? Gatwick, Luton and Stanstead being good examples. Haethrow is admitedly part of the London sprawl but £ per mile has one of the most expensive rail links in the country.. .. .Bear in mind that as these are frequently web based operations what the punter wants to know is roughly where their destination is. For example when I go to Norway I want to know who flies to and whether I can get to somewhere in the region of Oslo. The fact that an airline flies to Gardengnome or Torp means little unless I start getting the map out.. .. .I have flown Ryanair to 'Venice' and couldn't really care less that it was in fact Treviso and a 30 minute bus ride costing a couple of quid. The £39 fare was considerably cheaper than the couple of hundred I had been quoted with Alitalia (and that was at their their Millemiligia club rate)
