ATIS on contact with approach I agree, in H.K. radar give you the ATIS code on first contact, long before you switch to App
All this time and still you don't realize, what HK radar is doing is confirming that you have the latest ATIS by repeating the code so to make sure you have all the information included in it, otherwise what is the point of just
giving you the code??? You're supposed to give the code on initial contact befor he/she does, it's you not giving it that forces them to give it.
