The flybe cabin crew probably made it out to be a safety concern ie - allergys, when really they are badly paid themselves and don't even have 2D to eat pizza off a floor. People at the minute think flybe are bad enough between emergency landings, delays which last hours, and high fares for didley squat low cost service. So if they had to land a plane because a child ate a burger when they told it not to, they would lose a hell of a lot more passengers and the press would be in dreamland. (For once the press would keep their noses away from BA!)
I think there is a McDonalds in the Gatwick North terminal but its before security. But how the girl managed to get a burger through security, through waiting ages in a departure lounge, to still be hot after the plane took off is totally beyond me. I can't even drive to a McDonalds around the corner from me and drive back with my burger not cold when I get back. Maybe I should try bringing one through an airport!
