Including allowances, you will make about 48K as Saab FO at Mac, about 70K Capt. Pretty sure Rex pay about 3K/5K on top of Macs.
However, with Rex, you may be living in rip off Syd so at the end of the day, financially you are probably better off in QLD where it does not cost a quarter of a mill for a 1 bedroom dump in the middle of nowhere.
Bear in mind, govt data back in May said the average "full time" salary/wage in Australia is $62,700.
I just can't understand why people are not doing this for a career anymore!?
