I'm still a bit of a luddite when it comes to PC's. I need it to be point and click or plug and pray.
If it don't work - *I* can't fix it - so I tend to go proprietary and, when feasible, matching.
I have a laptop (two actually) that I would like to convert to Linux (to make a domestic telephone exchange) - but I've no idea how to do that.
I assume it won't take one OS whilst running it's current one, and if I delete it's current one first - it won't do bugger all. (Actually, that's exactly what I suppose it would do - "bugger all").
I have to do all my computing in the "camp for bears of little brain".
