I did my GAPAN tests a couple of years ago - a good experience. No need to prep for the tests themselves (a combination of hand-eye coordination, maths and spacial awareness) but there is a good opportunity to ask lots of questions during your debrief about the aviation training industry etc so worth thinking about what you want to know in advance.
