Thanks for the clarity. Yes it was the lack of notice that caused all the problems. The Heathrow based pilot corp organised the Crew Parking deal with BAA in 2003/4 when Harrods kicked us out but, they would only issue the par park pass through the company. So, that's how HR got involved. All dealings have been from BAA via HR.
I don't really give much of a toss if BAA chuck us out, it's the lack of notice (-1 day) that caused all the problems. We will sort our own deal again at Heathrow...
As for public transport to LHR...... it's a joke from my direction. It's good from M4 corridor and central London (tube), everything else is very poor. If I used public transport it would take over 2 hours to travel the 50 miles.
