Braniff had some 40 pilots rated on Concorde for their interchange with AF and BA between JFK and DFW. One of my acquaintances, Kenneth Larson was one of the captains. He flew Concorde for 1 year in the 1979-1980 period.

I met Kenn in a "pilot bar" at the Miami Airport in the early 1980s, after he had lost his job with the Braniff bankruptcy. While talking "airplane" we thought he was bragging and lying like all pilots do, and claimed to have flown Concorde. All of us laughed at him, until he went to his wallet and presented his FAA pilot certificate with his Concorde type rating...
