Stop spending, save. Ditch as much debt as possible. If you feel under threat, AND your thoughts are rational, do this now. Keep a good lookout for a suitable job, don't confine yourself to flying. Prepare your CV now, while your still employed and in good spirits.
If it does happen, keep yourself occupied and keep to some form of routine. Divide your day up into job search, gardening, sport (keeps body and mind fit). and at least one activity that gets you out of the house to meet people (not the pub, sorry). Don't be afraid to tell friends, you do not have a disease, you just need a job. They may help.
