There used to be a good 'guide' on radar vectoring techniques including diagrams on the Vatsim site written by a former Heathrow Director which went into positioning onto base leg, losing a mile in the turn etc but unfortunately I can't find it any more. Don't suppose anyone knows where to find it or if they have it saved??
