Got my PP for free with a Platinum Mastercard. Use it in average once a month mainly in european airports - always in uniform, never carrying a boarding card. Works fine. The quality of the lounges varies though. Some lounges are really nice, others (for instance STN) are a bit disappointing.
Ask your bank for your best option. I pay 300 € p.a. for the business MC platinum with travel insurance, PP, PT. Good value for money (already covered a totally thrashed rental car).
