Love all the speculation and the interest it generates, if any good can come of this, then that's a good thing. But lets face it, it seems some of you will only except one explanation. No beating around the bush, you want it to be fuel starvation. This is only one possibility, and it should certainly be discussed to reinforce fuel issues, not only with junior pilots but more experienced flyers aswell. Back to my point, there are other causes of forced landings that should also be raised and discussed to help educate everyone.

So, if you have a point to make, just come out and say it and stop this inuendo.

I'm sure the pilot did the best he could in the circumstances, just like most of us would.

Well done to the pilot, and Cessna for their very survivable A/C.

It's great to see that the majority of us support the pilot in has actions and only a small minority insist on shooting down an already downed pilot.
