The
PR Spitfire wired Wyton at 1800 tonight -a number of passes with the Griffin growling away in usual fashion.
Then the old lady looked magnificent (1915) as she flew past (BoB cocktail party?). She did several runs, including a short climbout on full power (oh! that howl!). Many in the village stood and watched. Setting sun caught her a number of times - glorious.
Well done to all the guys - air and ground.
