I cannot believe the Journal ran a storey based on a couple of plane spotters on the MME pages!!
I find this story totally hilarious and without any foundation what so ever. As said it's source can be traced to the posting of 'Reggies' on the MME thread who clearly have nothing positive to post. A 'journo' was noted making reference to their fantasy requesting further details!. The clever bit about all this is than in GSM as quoted "refusing to deny rumours" places pressure on MME to consider cost reductions to retain GSM. 'IF' a gap was perceived in NCL routes then in my view RYR are more likely to express interest. Having said this then it appears more likely in short term that limited cuts across many routes will be experienced for 2009.
