My GP has done the usual blood tests to rule out diabetes, vitamin deficiences, liver and kidney problems
Those exclusions are very reassuring at an early stage !
Next thing I would want to know is your age (not on profile ! ).

Totally agree with neurology referral being the next step.
At this point your class 1 is probably not under threat at all, in view of the very minimal symptoms you describe.

Once you have seen the neurologist, and depending on his diagnosis and / or advice, you just MIGHT need to ground youself and report your situation to the CAA medical department.
