For the record, I am an ATSA [latterly Manch Tower, now MACC]
The only major problem is that I have to do them in my own time and at my own expense. Whilst the novelty factor of the first few made this worthwhile, I have no desire to go on any more if I have to foot the bill and use up my leave.
ALL of
my Fam Flights,[when available] have been, in my time, my cost [airport tax re-imbursed by the company]...so what? It
is a "learning curve".
Yes, it would be nice if we had a "regulated" day off to go flying.
I gave up my days off to do Fam Flights, only to be told that I was doing too many [1 per 2 months]...but nobody else was taking up the offers
Anyone offer me a FamFlight?
