Sadly, there are customers who are crooks, dreamers, liars, simpletons, tossers etc. and some are wannabes (see examples on this forum)
The same could be said about FTOs and their owners.
The difference is - paying for a holiday or a kitchen upfront - is you are dealing with a company in your country - and you have certain rights, if things go wrong. You also have a cooling off period in a lot of cases.
At OBA, or other foreign schools ("British owned and operated" means jack !!!!!), you do not have any legal comeback if things go wrong.
If you do leave - you get 25% taken off first (from the top figure)
Also, should you decide to leave, please note, all accommodation at OBA is prepaid - and you get nothing back.
You are then charged the full rate for everything flown to date. Plus a few other charges I was hearing about - I looked at this school in great detail, and decided against it, thanks to what I was reading on here.
Meaning, if you do cancel, you loose a lot more than the 25% cancellation fee.
