BA DEP Licensing requirements

Hi all,

I understand there is a recruitment freeze on, but looking at PPJN I see that to be considered for Long Haul entry you need 2000 hours TT and 1000 on a heavy type, and an ATPL. It does not state an ATPL(f) would be acceptable.

My airline has a policy of ensuring we have a licence from a certain JAA member state and is now refusing to sign off ATPL upgrades until we have a license from said state. I am attempting to delay changing over but it's inevitable I think (I like my new CAA licence) and so thus we come to the crux of the matter...

In peoples learned experience would consideration be given to a potential pilot with ATPL(f), but just waiting for the paperwork to be done to unfreeze it? This is something i'm mulling over, evidently only going to be a factor if they start recruitment again!
