Substantial profits
It seems to me that it's the pursuit of 'substantial' profits that is at the root of the problem. They'll either come from higher fares or lower costs. Either way a customer, employer or service provider will get screwed in order that the shareholders and directors get a better bonus.
Why can't we all share in an adequate profit?
