BA profits down...anything to do with fuel surcharge fines ?
i was surprised to see BA's profits well down on last year...could this have anything to do with the fine imposed for fuel surcharge fixing in league with virgin ?? i am not an accountant, but millions in fines have to be accounted for.maybe the fuel increase is not the only reason for the slump in profit.as fuel prices continue to fall day to day,can we expect BA's profits to increase substantially in the next 6 months ?if that is the case, can anyone recommend investing in shares at todays bargain price ?
