According to an AP story today, Richard Reid attended the same London mosque as that of Zacarias Moussaoui. The leader of that mosque warned authorities of extremist activities. According to a BBC report, Peter Herbert, deputy chairman of London's Metropolitan Police Authority, confirmed that those warnings were ignored.
