BA will not pull the plug on the LHR route completely. They may reduce some of the middle of the day schedules when they are normally less than full and there is greater choice with BMI. Red eye is nearly always full going out and last two flights nearly always full coming back. There is also the vital link with Houston through LHR - prob 20 to 30 per day hook up with the IAH connection at LHR. Now that this will leave from T5 it will be impossible or nearly so to connect with a flight out of ABZ to T1 with another airline.
